INTRODUCTION TO MIKROTIK NETWORKING TECHNOLOGIES
The specialised professional (certificate) program “Introduction to MikroTik Networking Technologies” is designed to enhance the qualifications of professionals in electronic communication networks (ECN).
The program aims to enhance participants’ ability to:
- configure MikroTik routers for various tasks in electronic communication networks (ECN);
- identify and troubleshoot network issues within ECN;
- deploy wireless local area networks based on MikroTik routers;
- set up backup communication channels using MikroTik routers.
Forms of training: lectures and practical classes. Total duration – 60 hours, including 45 hours under instructor supervision.
Independent work involves using open-source software and personal computers (laptops). Practical sessions are conducted with MikroTik routers.
Knowledge assessment:
- ongoing – completion of test and practical tasks;
- final – credit awarded based on ongoing assessment results.
Mode of study: distance learning (during a special period).
Study group: 10–15 participants with higher education.
Training is conducted using the facilities of the Institute of Special Communication and Information Protection of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Payment – according to the agreement and the act of service delivery and acceptance.
Upon completion: a state-recognised certificate of professional development is awarded.
