The specialised professional (certificate) advanced training program “Administration and Security of TCP/IP Networks (Cisco CCNA Security)” is designed to enhance the qualifications of administrators and specialists responsible for the operation of TCP/IP communication networks and is conducted at the expense of individuals and legal entities based on concluded agreements.
The program aims to enhance participants’ ability to:
- design, configure and maintain stable operation of small and medium-sized data transmission networks;
- analyse, describe and monitor the operation of key TCP/IP network protocols;
- understand the concepts of network security and perform the duties of a network security specialist;
- neutralise network attacks and mitigate their consequences;
- implement tools for preventing and countering network attacks.
Total duration: 144 hours, including 96 hours of instructor-led training (in accordance with Resolution № 106 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Order № 185-19 of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service).
Forms of instruction: lectures, practical exercises, laboratory work, and computer workshops. Independent work is carried out via the netacad.com platform.
Knowledge assessment:
- ongoing – online testing after each module;
- final – examination through the Cisco Academy.
Mode of study: full-time (daytime) and distance learning.
Documents upon completion: a certificate of advanced training and Cisco CCNA certificates, as well as an electronic voucher (for the elective session).
